These Terms explain the rules for using CETPrep. By accessing the service, you agree to follow them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Using CETPrep
CETPrep is an educational service for college entrance test preparation. CETPrep is a free project, and every feature is available at no charge. You may use the service for your personal, non-commercial learning. You must use it lawfully and must not disrupt it, bypass access controls, scrape or automate access without permission, or access another person's account.
A free service
CETPrep is run as a free educational project. Every study feature is free, nothing is locked behind a plan.
Donations and refunds
CETPrep charges nothing. There is no plan, subscription, trial, paywall, or in-app purchase, and no feature is withheld pending payment. Donations are entirely voluntary gifts made on Ko-fi, a separate website with its own terms and payment processing. A donation buys nothing: it unlocks no feature, grants no account status, removes no limit, and creates no service obligation. Because a donation is a gift and not a purchase, donations are non-refundable. If you donated by mistake, sent the wrong amount, or believe a charge was unauthorized, email cetprep.app@gmail.com within 30 days and we will try in good faith to arrange a refund through Ko-fi, though the outcome depends on their platform and payment provider. CETPrep never receives or stores your card or payment details.
Accounts and community content
You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Comments must be respectful, relevant to learning, and free of harassment, spam, unlawful material, sexual content involving minors, threats, or personal information belonging to someone else. CETPrep may remove content or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to protect students or the service.
Educational—not official—content
CETPrep provides original exam-style preparation material. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official service of the University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, or the University of Santo Tomas. Content is provided for study purposes and does not guarantee admission, a particular score, or an exact prediction of any future examination.
Intellectual property and proprietary software
CETPrep and its software, source code, design, original question bank, explanations, illustrations, branding, and other original materials are proprietary and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No ownership or source-code license is granted by using the service. You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, publish, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from protected CETPrep materials except where applicable law expressly permits it or CETPrep gives written permission. University names, seals, third-party videos, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Availability and changes
The service may change, pause, or discontinue features as the project evolves. We work to keep explanations and results accurate, but the service is provided as available without a promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Material changes to these Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
AI-assisted features
Prepi and any feature identified as AI-assisted may generate explanations that are incomplete or wrong. AI output is a study aid, not an official answer key, teacher, admissions decision, or professional advice. Check important answers against the cited lesson or passage and report errors through Support. When you choose Ask Prepi, CETPrep sends Google Gemini the practice question, answer choices, your selected answer, the official explanation, and any related passage needed to explain the mistake. CETPrep does not send your name, email address, or profile information to Gemini for this feature.
Philippine law and resolving concerns
These Terms are intended to operate under Philippine law, without limiting mandatory consumer, privacy, child-protection, accessibility, or other rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Please first use the private Support channel so CETPrep can investigate and try to resolve the concern. Nothing in these Terms prevents a person from contacting the Department of Trade and Industry, National Privacy Commission, another competent regulator, or a court when legally available. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration.
Questions and reports
Use CETPrep's private Support form to report a content, account, copyright, privacy, accessibility, safety, or Terms issue. Do not send passwords, government IDs, or unnecessary student records. CETPrep does not accept legal or privacy notices through public repositories or social-media comments.
Who operates CETPrep
CETPrep is an independent study project run by an individual student developer based in the Philippines. It is not a registered company and is not affiliated with any university or testing organization. You can reach the operator at cetprep.app@gmail.com or through the Support form.
