Privacy for students
Your information belongs to you.
Here is the short version of what CETPrep collects and why. If anything is confusing, ask a trusted adult or send us a private support request.
What we know about you
When you make an account, we keep your email, display name, sign-in details, and your agreement to the rules. As you study, we save answers, scores, timing, mistakes, and progress so your work is not lost.
Why we use it
We use this information to sign you in, grade practice, show progress, suggest what to study, keep the site safe, and answer private support requests. We do not sell your information or use your answers for advertising.
Who helps run the site
Supabase stores accounts and study data. Vercel hosts the website. YouTube may receive device information when you play an embedded video. If you press Ask Prepi, Google Gemini receives the practice question, choices, the answer you picked, the official explanation, and any related passage so it can explain the mistake. We do not send your name, email address, or profile information to Gemini for Prepi.
What other students can see
Posting a comment is optional. Signed-in students may see your display name and what you post. Never post your address, phone number, school records, health details, passwords, exact schedule, or another person's private information.
Optional usage measurement
You can choose whether CETPrep measures your visits to help improve the site. It is off unless you say yes. If you allow it, a random ID on your browser connects visits to your account, so we can see whether people sign up, finish practice, and come back. No answers, names, emails, or full web addresses are saved in these visit records. You can say no without losing any study tools, or change your choice at the bottom of the page. Turning it off asks us to delete this browser's visit records. We also use existing account and saved-practice records for aggregate reports.
Your choices
You or your parent or guardian can ask what information we have, correct it, object to some uses, or ask us to delete it when the law allows. We may need to check who is asking before changing an account.
Before you make an account
You do not have to post comments to use the study tools. If anything here is confusing, ask a trusted adult or send us a private support request.
